One of our participants did fairly well through the initial part of his COVID illness but then developed a high fever around day 9-10. I was concerned about the late onset fever so I encouraged him to follow up with his PCP office who told him to take Tylenol and ride it out. I was very concerned about him and followed up with him everyday. He told me a few days ago how much he appreciates me helping him through this. He had to call EMS last night but wasn't taken to the hospital. He called me this morning to let me know about the incident and how he's doing because he said he knows I care.
